Dr. Pratibha Kumar is the CEO & Founder of Sungh Consultancy LLC, located in the Baltimore-Washington D.C. metro region. She specializes in organizational culture, strategic communication, and collective well-being of employees. Dr. Kumar is an Associate Professor of Communication at Mount St. Mary’s University in Maryland, and her teaching and research interests include multiculturalism, DEIB, media, and gender. She delivers talks and presentations to local SHRM chapters as a way to give back to the community.

Dr. Kumar holds a Ph.D. in Communication and Public Discourse. Her professional and consulting experience keeps her current on the latest research and information on contemporary topics. Recently, her chapter titled, “Intersection of Race and Gender: Women of Color Leading Groups” was published in an edited book, Examining Social Identities and Diversity Issues in Group Therapy: Knocking at the Boundaries.
